THIS BLOG WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED.

------------------//------------------------//-----------------------------//

Hello reader!

I am no one but a lazy college undergrad. This blog site has degenerated into a links dump. It's messy. It's chaotic. I'm sorry.

Moving plans are at their infancy. This'll stay messy for a long time yet.

Hang around if you find something useful. But if you want a good use of your time, I highly recommend you move on ahead to better kept nooks and crannies in the World Wide Web. See you around.

You are entering the world of a Type 5. You have been forewarned.

Why is that so Ma? Why are some of us compelled to take divergent roads? I think I may be losing my way in the woods. But as always, I have to save myself through my own endeavor. Perhaps because no one else is capable.

This is one of my faves from Robert Frost (American), and somehow this reminds me of you and some people...

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I had a random thought yesterday while walking home about Filipino languages. I can't remember precisely where I first heard the claim, but I'm certain it's been talked over among my friends as some sort of support for an argument as well as in... more
